Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Ever since it hatched, it has been hiding among the tree leaves.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

StonedTropicalChrifi is a lazy little Neotropical Dragon hatchling. She spends most of her time either napping or resting in the shade. She rarely plays with the other hatchlings in her cave, but they love it when she does. She is really good at games like Hide and Squeak, and Tail Tag. She's a gracious winner, and always seems to make everyone feel like they had won themselves. StonedTropicalChrifi can easily turn a simple day into a massive celebration, when she bothers to get up and join in the fun.
