Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is very aggressive, and has brilliant turquoise markings all over its body.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Jaban is fierce and feisty and he acts like an older brother to anyone younger than him. He is extremely loyal and will fight for any cause for good.  Jaban is playful at times but mostly just to keep the new hatchlings entertained.  He loves poetry and will read any scroll, book or document to find it.
