Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Jayik isn't the first dragon to manipulate clouds, nor is she the first to do so for purposes other than weather-working. She does, however, seem likely to be the first to get herself into serious trouble through sky-writing. Cloud messages can be chancy enough, given the chance of inadvertently giving offense if the wind shifts mid-message, but Jayik has chosen a particularly risky audience for her work. She's found a human enclave whose members all believe that the future can be foretold through cloud patterns and thanks to her meddling, their predictions of doom have increased fivefold in recent years. Given that there are several wizards among their number, Jayik is bound to be discovered at her work sooner rather than later, and the enclave won't be best pleased that someone has been meddling with them.
