Grave Dragons are not named for their connections to death or burial, but for the grave expression on their faces. This strange expression is used as a defense mechanism that causes fits of panic and terror in potential predators. Since they only eat ash and charcoal, they do not hunt. Grave Dragons are powerful fire-breathers and have been known to burn down forests and villages alike to make meals. It is believed that the markings on each Grave Dragon’s wings are the faces of those who have lost their lives in fires started by that dragon.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kzazz Black-Howler The Fiend is an orange and red dragon with scales that shimmer like flames. When she breathes fire, her scales seem to light up and look like they are burning as bright as fire. Her eyes also seem to glow red when she breathes fire. Her clan nicknames her the "living fire" because of this. Because Kzazz is responsible and able to control her fire abilities, she is allowed to roam to different regions of her clan's territory. Her clan doesn't fear her making wildfires despite the great intensity of her flames. Kzazz always was great with her fire manipulations. Kzazz is able to extinguish any fire within her sight with her fire manipulation. Kzazz most notable skill with fire is her fire aura. With this ability she can surround herself in fire becoming too hot to the touch. She can burn anything that she touches. Kzazz is a flexible, perceptive, open-minded and, resourceful dragon as she is able to see each situation as unique and can adapt her style accordingly.
