Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It loves watching the reflection of stars in the water.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Nicias is a young male Royal Blue with a sense of duty. He often sneaks from Moonlily's lessons to train with Black Dragons Galela and Blackbird. Nicias actually avoids violence and wants to be able to protect using only minor force if needed. Nicias often sits by his pool wondering if maybe he has a bigger purpose, but the stars in the water have yet to answer. His best friend and crush is the Golden wyvern hatchling Oliza.
