Scimitar-wing Wyverns are a small breed, eating mainly birds and small vertebrates; as such, they lack the large teeth and heavy claws of their larger cousins. They are far from defenseless, however, and are named for the blade-like growth that forms over the first digit of their wings. The wyverns use these blades to defend themselves from any attacker. Their blades are quite strong and can cut through almost any scale or hide.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Scim is quite the vicious dragon. He'll attack just about anything that comes close to him or especially his sister, Asia. Like her, he tends to get very jumpy, due to his small size making him feel defenceless. Unlike Asia, however, Scim doesn't maintain a sense of strategic coherency. While Asia will systematically use her blades to disarm (e.i. dismember) and immobilize her target, Scim will fly into an opponent at mach speed, screaming like a banshee and swinging his wings around wildly. To give credit, it is actually a pretty effective fighting style that has saved his life more that of a talon full of times, but his sister begs to differ. It actually serves to make the two of them an extremely dangerous duo that are difficult to predict when dealing with both of them at once, which is usually the case since these two only really have each other. Scim cares immensely for Asia and is ready do help defend her at any time.
