Spitfires are a desert breed of dragon. Their dull brown bodies contrast with their brilliant turquoise markings, and they only blaze brighter when these dragons fight. Spitfires are notorious for their territorial natures, and the wing-edges of most are ripped and tattered before their first year is out. Spitfires are also noteworthy for their brilliant blue fire, which is used not for hunting or fighting, but rather for making glass caves from the sand, in which the dragons can soak up the sun.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Kinjitou Sabaku is the mate of Satetsu Sabaku, and almost alike in his personality. The two are prideful and arrogant, placing their species above the species of all other dragons. They split away from the rest of the pack almost immediately, claiming a desert and cliff area to raise their young away from the influence of other dragons. Aside from pygmy dragons, who obtain the food and keep general maintenence of the Sabaku family, no other species of dragon are ever seen.

Kinjitou has a bit more of a defensive nature than her mate, lashing out at the slightest threat to her hatchlings and eggs and finding fault in everyone but herself. She despises the pygmys and when she is angered it is they who bear the brunt of it. She spends all day curled up around her children- or future children- forever fearing that any harm would come to these special eggs.
