Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The daughter or Yamanya and Galatorin, Sakura Blossom; or Saku for short; is a seasonal dragon like her father Galatorin. Unlike her father however, who hatched in the winter; Saku hatched in spring time. She has a very sweet disposition, and would rather be playing than having to fight. Watch out if she has to fight though! She has control over any kind of plant life, and knows how to make herself blend into her surroundings and move without the slightest sound. The term silent but deadly would easily describe how Saku fights. But like said before, she refuses to fight unless given no other choice.

Many of the other dragons in her clan, even some of the older ones, look up to Saku. Despite her playful attitude, she is wise beyond her years. Many view her as leader of the clan, even though Saku says she isn't. The others won't listen though, and they'll almost always willingly follow any order she gives, though any are seldom.
