Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Bmocsspil has been deaf most of his life. It was a curse implanted on him by his evil uncle, a neglected dragon by the name of Wyre. Wyre was jealous of Bmocsspil mainly because Bmocsspil was born with such beautiful scales and a lovely singing voice. Wyre cursed him so that he could never sing again nor even hear his own voice. Years later, Wyre was still jealous and could rarely stand the look at Bmocsspil. So Wyre challenged Bmocsspil to a fight to the death. Bmocsspil won but having pity for his uncle he let him live. In return for sparing his life, Wyre lifted the curse and because he felt guilty about Bmocsspil being deaf for years, he placed it on himself. Bmocsspil's uncle was never seen again....but sometimes Bmocsspil sings a sad song about Wyre. Because even the blackest hearts still beat.
