When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Daughter of the World Snake, Peaceful Tide is much like her father in the way that she is passive in nature. She is much smaller than her father and thus can journey to the world of light and air without worrying about causing earthquakes or other disasters with her movement. Often, Tide spends most of her time basking in the moonlight and delving in to dark, cold waters when the sun is high. She lurks usually somewhere around the equator for most of the year, usually near her father's head and surprisingly takes care of him. Since he does not move often, it isn't unusual for Tide to tend to her father's hunting. Keeping a tidy nest, Tide is a peaceable though brisk she-dragon that often does not tolerate a lot of noise but is all for a nice moonlit basking session above the water from time to time.
