Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Dark Dimond was the first saved by enigmatic elven wanderer Sandrilyona. She found his egg among coals in an old campfire somewhere near the dragoncave. He was the first raised and tutored by her, and the founder of the Clan of the Red Moon. Clan of all the dragons that Sandrilyona saved from death and helped them mature. They have become her guardians and are ready to help wherever she is in trouble. As The First Dragon, Dark Dimond carries a huge responsibility. He is the Head of the Family. Now he is in charge of raising young offsprings and protecting them. He coordinates all the adult dragons too, but he is proud to do all that as it is the smallest thing he can do in repay for his life. He is quite strict and is always aware of trouble. He used to be really aggressive and easily excited as a teenager but years of different kinds of experience and traveling with Sandrilyona brought him wisdom. He has a lifemate Sneguro4ka—a mighty winter dragon.
