Avatars of Destruction possess a volatile disposition. They thrive on chaos and decay, and their horns and plated scales are as hard as forged metal. Because of their affinity with darkness and the destructive forces of nature, it was once thought that these dragons were omens of ill fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

True to her bloodline and reputation as an Avatar of Destruction, Desolation is very unpredictable and many feel they have to walk on eggshells to avoid her terrifying wrath. Though she was born to one elusive Guardian of Nature that roams her master's entire vast sanctuary, Desolation was raised almost exclusively by her Brute mother, "The Night", along with her small pack of fellow female Brutes. Desolation did not meet up with her rare and mysterious father until shortly after she reached adulthood and struck out on her own to build a territory for her kind. Let's just say her opinion of him isn't very high, so she basically sent her father packing as soon as he stepped foot into her territory out of curiosity. Desolation is the first Avatar in the Sanctuary, as well as the first Avatar of Destruction.
