Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Valenwood is a quiet dragon, who lives in a deep cave in the middle of the forest that bears her name. She is shy, avoiding the company of other adult dragons, but she often helps her human friend raise hatchlings, mostly leaving the hatchlings when the they mature. Valenwood prays to the Mother Earth Goddess, and is honoured to be part of her creation. She is fond of her human, who rescued her abandoned egg.
