Rosebud Dragons are a fun and social breed found most often in the spring. The petal-like feathers that grow on their sides spread their sweet and floral scent. Although they have poor eyesight, they have ribbon-like extensions that extend their olfactory abilities to help create a map of the area around them. When flying, Rosebud dragons tend to hover, using their wings to fan their scent throughout the air. A widespread breed, they go to great effort to visit as many flowery fields as possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

While rosebud dragons are quite fond of sunlight in general (much easier to socialize when your friends are awake, after all!), Valerria has a deeper love for it than most, one that goes beyond the joy of simply enjoying basking in the warmth or playing during the day. The way she spreads her wings to greet the morning sun is almost reverent, eyes closed in pleasure, feathers catching in the low breeze... and her whole body shining with a gentle radiance, soft pink flaring to brilliant gold and violet where the light strikes. This shine is the result of her sunsong heritage, one that's proven further in her cheerful but elusive nature. Yet as obvious as these signs might seem to those who know her, the greatest tribute to Valerria's ancestry is her ability to seemingly bring good luck to all who meet her.
