Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Onxytears has the lineage of a queen. Filled with rare and special dragons, she was rather pampered in the old days, letting it go to her head. She bullied other dragons who lacked her distinguished lineage and spent her days flirting and preening, ignoring those she considered lesser. Well. That was some time ago. When the War broke out, suddenly her lineage was something to be ashamed of, something that almost resulted in her getting her throat torn out by Stareyes, one of Flameflow's warriors. She used to tell him he was handsome! True, he never responded, but she thought they'd shared a real bond...

These days, she just counts herself lucky that she escaped with her life, and a few scars. She's much humbler now, though that doesn't soothe the old wounds she gave to the dragons she lives with now in the Fallen Weyr. She's trying to make up for it now, though. She'd never understood, before, back then, what it was like to be so ill-treated because of something so silly as birth.
