Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

An  egg with a green glow sat in a cave. It was the only one that emitted a sad aura. The creature within had already been big enough to realise things when they happened. It had been conscious of its parents. It had felt secure and warm while they were near.

One day things changed. The egg was moved, rather ungently. It heard whispers in it's head, words like duty, priority, remorse. The little creature didn't understand the meanings of them as it hadn't experienced the world yet. It was aware that the parents that gave her a feeling of  security were gone and never came back. It was left behind.

Then it was moved again and all of a sudden it felt secure and warm again. A woman found it, and once it was hatched it turned out to be a girl, so the woman gave her the name of her parents—Ebony. She grew into a fine warrior that had experienced loneliness and sorrow. The woman was her strange looking godmother now and Ebony was a loyal creature—never left for long but always returned.
