Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

An old and battle-hardened dragon, Galmeira's breathtaking size dwarfs most creatures by comparison. Her large, black, hardened nails scratch deep rivets into the ground as she walks, and as she spreads her leathery black wings, showing off her impressive wingspan, her strong wingbeats as she lifts up into the air swirls the dust and dirt beneath her in a miniature windstorm. Her blood red scales are crisscrossed with a tapestry of scars that hint at her checkered past; yet, despite her fearsome appearance, she is actually quite reserved, her calm and collected manner taking most newcomers by surprise. Once a powerful warrior in the Dragon Army, her history as a soldier is coloured by equal parts triumph and shame, victory and pain. Once, she was a lieutenant in the legendary Dragon Wars, storming the castles of wealthy kings and holding eminent princesses hostage. Once, the heat of her fire roasted a thousand men to nothing but ashes. Alas, those days are over for her now.
