An almost strictly nocturnal breed, Ciriax Lindwyrms are especially attuned to the moons’ cycles. They spend nights patrolling the edges of their territory, aggressively fending off intruders while they feast on their prey. After two or three nights of feeding, often around the time of at least one full moon, Ciriax Lindwyrms retreat to the recesses of their cave or underground homes. These dragons make it particularly difficult to travel on nights that are well-lit by moonlight, often to an unsuspecting adventurer’s dismay.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Two-headed dragons are unique enough to deserve a separate classification from ordinary dragons. They have two necks, two brains, two mouths, but one stomach and one main body. The two heads usually work together, but there are times when they will fight each other, snapping back and forth. Their unique anatomy prevents them from breeding with single-headed dragons.

User Description

Possessing a great love for exploration, this male will poke his heads into any and every crevice he comes across, constantly on the search for all things new and spectacular. This inquisitive nature is what led him to his home, a massive and cryptic ruin deep within the jungle. Its labyrinthine corridors are better known by him than by anyone, yet still carry their share of secrets, secrets he's eager to find out.

Unfortunately, however, it's there that the rare compatibly-natured lindwurm shows his true nature. While both heads adore exploring, one has an odd fixation on going into the darker, slimier pathways, while the other would much rather work his way up to the temple's golden top. As such, their adventures often come to a pause whenever they reach a split in the path, the dual heads squawking and squabbling about how to proceed until one or the other succeeds in dragging the body forward into their pathway of choice, at which point the other grudgingly goes along with it.
