Failed attempts to experiment with magic often result in transforming dragons into these hellish creatures. They are extremely dangerous, and will mindlessly kill any living creature without regard to friend or foe.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Dark Terror...every dragons nightmare. After midnight of the 31st of each month, Dark Terror prowls the cave in search of a meal. The other dragons keep their hatchlings tucked away in fear, but in truth, this zombie dragon is quite harmless. Though frightening, Dark Terror mostly keeps to herself, and is silent except when especially angry. The only dragons in the cave she interacts with are the vampire dragons. They are the only dragons in the cave she can relate to, as they are like her in their undead status. Even so, she rarely communicates with them. On midsummer's eve she can be seen quietly gazing up at the moon just outside the cave.
