Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
The first days of this dragon's life were probably his worst--scarcely a day had passed since his hatching before his nest was attacked, leaving his father dead and the young newborn stumbling through the snow, lost and homeless in the middle of winter. But fate had pity on the youngling, and his bright stripes developed remarkably early, the only thing that allowed a passing white dragon to distinguish his inert body from the snow on which he had collapsed. Nursed back to health, he has since become a friendly, passionate dragon, with a particular taste for the arts--especially paintings which employ bright colors.
