Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This dragon prides herself on the precision with which she whips her tail about.  Flicking the end of her tail so rapidly that her target never sees it, she knocks flies out of the air to lie dead several decameters away.

     Once she encountered a honey tree.  Keeping the bees at bay with her beating wings, she used her tail to kill them one at a time as she dined on the hive's honey.  So precise was Tailtip, that exactly one bee from the swarm was killed for each whip of her tail—she never missed her target.
