Pillow Dragons are covered in enormous amounts of fur affectionately referred to as fluff. Despite their deceivingly large size, they can still fly even with such tiny wings because their bodies are remarkably light. Pillow Dragons have a habit of sleeping for up to eighteen hours a day, waking only in short bursts. During their few waking hours, they take the time to hunt for prey. Once a pillow dragon becomes an adult, its fur grows very slowly. Pillow dragon fur is used to make very expensive and valuable cloth known as “dragon cashmere.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Not many dragons enjoy getting too close to the pillow dragon, lest they be blamed of being cursed or some other nonsense. Frinn grew up hand raised by a human, Tal, who woke up every hour for two years to feed her scraps of chicken. She wasn't the first or last dragon to grow up directly on the farm instead of among the hundreds of acres of mountains that the human held a deed to. Eventually Frinn got it in her head that she wanted to live with her brethren, and left without so much as a good bye. The other dragons were quick to learn about her superstitions and avoided her. She began to tend to abandoned eggs and hatchlings as she had done with Tal, knowing that they couldn't and wouldn't judge her. After three years among the dragons, Frinn began to make trips back to the farm to drop off eggs and hatchlings that knew no friendly touch. She lives a few miles away from the farm with her Terrae mate, Sevjamei, and her son Figaurin.
