It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A love for the blues resides deep in this dragon's soul, and for better or worse, so does overwhelming generosity. While his kindness and altruism has earned him no shortage of friends, it's also made him the victim of more than one scam, lyrics and earnings stolen from right under his nose and often leaving him miserable, unwilling to burden his friends with pleas for help. It was on one such particularly sorry night that a mysterious purple dragon approached him, offering him a place where he could sing as much as he liked and never fear betrayal. Skeptical, but still willing to trust, he took the offer--and found everything he'd dreamed of. The place that employed him was the Cirque de Pourpre, a truly wonderful circus, and there he found new friends and an environment where his music could be safely appreciated. Now more than three decades later, he still works at the circus, despite offers of even better wages elsewhere... because it's at the circus that he found himself a home.
