Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It enjoys running through a nearby pumpkin patch.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

PumpkinPeeper is tiny a Pumpkin Dragon hatchling, no bigger than a tree frog. He's fascinated by frogs, perhaps just because he sort of resembles one. He likes to try and mimic their peeping calls, and is often out in the evenings trying to peep like a frog. Other dragons might laugh at PumpkinPeeper, but he's getting really good at calling in a high tone, just like a real amphibian.
