And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Tina Mutant Ninja Turner lives in the underground parts of New York Cave ever since retiring from the music business. The hatchling tried to join a gang of turtles trained in the martial arts, but was rejected because it somehow did not put on the green gang colors. Nevertheless, it stalks the turtles everywhere and started to wear a face mask in a distinct pink and to yell "Cowabunga" at the most unfitting times. Living underground has alienated the hatchling; its only friend is April O'Neill, a female Water Dragon working for the Water Pond Channel Network. April O'Neill reports news for Channel 6.

The main food source of the hatchling is a certain type of flat, baked bread topped with tomato sauce, cheese and various types of other food—except anchovies.
