Golden Wyverns are known for their beautiful metallic scales and rumored magical abilities. Living high in the mountains, these dragons do not believe in killing for sport or pleasure. They will hunt only when hungry and defend themselves when provoked, but will avoid killing to the best of their abilities. Golden Wyverns often mingle with other dragons of similar color and take pride in their shimmering hide.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Pearl's egg was mistaken as treasure found by a crew of sea raiders. The captain called the egg 'my beloved pearl'. The crew was shocked when the egg hatched into a beautiful golden dragon. She was quickly welcomed as part of the crew and slept in the captain's cabin. As she grew she took to roosting on the mainmast's yards when she wasn't playfully flying beside the ship.

Pearl never takes part in any of the raider's activities other than feasting. They never need her to fight as just her flying beside the ship keeps rivals at bay. All of the crew calls her 'my beloved Pearl' as they feed her fresh fish and salted beef. Pearl was the best treasure they ever found.
