As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

User Description

At first, Jake wanted to understand. He was on the receiving ends of looks filled with hate and hellfire. He had to know what he had done, how he had messed up. But no one told; no one breathed a word.

Next, he was angry. What right had they to despise him so, when he had done no wrong—who were they to judge, when they were so cruel themselves. But he couldn't keep this up; he knew them, even if they scorned him.

After the rage came the acceptance, a silent feeling of failure and surrender. He could not stop this, so he wouldn't fight it. There was no changing so many others when they had no will to be changed, and no desire to explain.

Then there was the fear. Fear, because those looks became worse. Fear, because looks became action. Fear, because he had no choice, they had no reason—and he was trapped in this hell. What was there for him now, when no one stood for his cause, but gave him only pain.

And, finally, he turned to a numb shell, not quite there, not quite gone.
