Aria dragons are a brightly-colored and sprightly breed, perhaps most adored for their lyric calls. Their song-like melodies fill the areas they inhabit; their coos resemble those of birds, only more elegant and refined. They have fairly strong magical capabilities, but tend to reserve these strengths for last-minute defense, choosing to live their lives in simple peace. Arias, sticking to the tropics, typically live quite far from human settlements, giving rise to the previously held belief that they had gone extinct.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

When not otherwise occupied, this pink dragon can normally be found muttering to herself in some quiet corner of her den. The reason for this is not the obvious one: she is, in fact, a poet of rare talent with an exceptional memory. The raw emotion behind her words has been known to entrance other dragons for months on end. However, many of her acquaintances prefer to avoid her, because most of her recitals last longer than that. This is Sukori's unique skill: the ability to take something as simple as a field of daffodils and spin it into a sweeping epic that spans literal decades.<br/>Sukori's current work in progress is a historical piece about the red dragon living a few caves away, who has repeatedly refused to let Sukori borrow any of his treasure. She estimates that, barring the unexpected, it will be complete not too long after the next century. For now, she spends her days deep inside her rather unkempt cave, her mind full of scattering flowers and the shallowness of dreams.
