Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A quiet dragon, this one reposes in one of the few glens left untouched by man, an elegant expanse of forest where many of the trees number hundreds of years in age. This dragon is nearly as ancient, and loves to rest beneath their shade, the sunlight shifting down in dazzling patterns across the earthy floor. But he is not oblivious to the signs, the roar of falling trees in the far off distance, the cries of the slain. He is not ignorant of the dark stains on the bark. And when the time comes, he will leave.
