Few dragons embody serenity and potential quite as perfectly as Avatars of Creation. They dedicate their abilities to the arts of healing and growing, and their shimmering scales seem to glow in accordance with their mood. The tendrils of an Avatar of Creation grow slowly throughout its life, and the longer the tendrils grow, the more potent its abilities become.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

DoC was chosen by the Ancient Gods to be the Keeper of Wisdom. She was picked personally to guard the Wisdom until a worthy hero comes along and she can pass it on.

When her clan mates ask her why she calls a simple wooden spoon "Wisdom" and why her descriptions of the Ancient Gods sound suspiciously like Misfit Pygmies, DoC just snorts deprecatorily and explains that no one but her had the Wisdom to understand.
