Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In his childhood, Nix was part of a very powerful clan that claimed a mountain as their territory. Nix was the son of their leader. However, a group of dragons came from a land far away to take the mountain, and there was a huge battle. In the end, his clan was defeated, and Nix was forced to flee. He didn't think any other dragons managed to get away, but he's not sure. Now fully grown, Nix lives in an underground cave alone.
