Frilled Dragons are smaller than most other breeds, but when threatened, they stretch out their wings and frills to appear larger. They generally do not like to fight and prefer hiding to confrontation. Frilled dragons live in small groups and often band together to scare off potential threats. Males also use their frills as a way to attract mates, with those displaying the “best” frills being more likely to breed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Dorothi is the starter of the leading lineage in her master's cave. As she is, in dragon terms, royalty, she is highly respected among her peers. As she has a lot of experience on leading the group, being dominant female for a 8-year reign until the dominant male died, she is alway delighted with giving advice to her son and daughter-in-law about leading the group. Of course, she sometimes makes mistakes. She once thought exile was the best way to treat an infertile dragon, but now she knows it's patience. After all, her son might be infertile! Unfortunatly, not everyone agrees. If they support her, they are Rockers; they paint spots on their tails. If they don't support her, they are Kicklers; they paint stripes instead.
