Terrae Dragons are primarily herbivores who prefer to eat from the tops of trees. However, due to their massive size, they must rely on small, specialized scales to absorb and convert energy from the sun. Since they live in tightly-knit groups, this form of energy absorption helps preserve the forests in which these dragons reside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Kiafelaeni is a Terrae dragon. The enormous egg took the owner (and two other helpful dragons) nearly an hour to roll into their family cave. Once there, her egg caused some more hassle by refusing to show any signs of cracking. The White dragons in the family  advised the owner to leave it alone. In the meanwhile, the hatchlings in the family used the egg as a sunbathing rock. Time went by, and just when it seemed that the egg would die, it suddenly broke apart and an enormous hatchling rolled out, squashing several small dragons who were unfortunate enough to be standing nearby. Kiafelaeni retained her clumsiness for quite some time, knocking over her babysitters, bumping into (and squishing) her playmates and even falling over her own feet. But just as suddenly as her egg hatched, the Terrae hatchling lost her clumsiness and grew into a graceful, agile young dragon. Now, she is often seen strolling through the cave, easily avoiding even the smallest of dragons.
