Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Moonshines Dust can be seen with his mate Moonshine the Bright whenever there is a full moon. They will sit under the moon and let their tails absorb as much moonlight as it can. When their tails are glowing a bright blue, they will go back to the cave and shine this strange light onto all the eggs and hatchlings. The next day all the eggs will be glowing and all the hatchlings will be very happy and playful.

Moonshines Dust is a very playful dragon despite having been tortured and bossed around by the older frozen hatchlings when he was a young one. He is very nice and cares about every living thing, but if anyone were to ever mess with his mate, close friends, or brood, he would fight with everything he has.
