Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This festive little whiptail dragon loves to participate in the Yearly Dragon Olympics. Earthy Sky has wave-like blue stripes on her body. She has brownish wings, but the inside of her wings is peachy orange. Her eye is blue to match the stripes. Earthy Sky has so far won second place (silver trophy, YDO cupcake, and a used but still good conditioned toy dragon), but hopes to win first place. (gold trophy, YDO cake, and new toy dragon) Unfortunately, an extremely speedy whiptail named ZhouMi is taking away Earthy Sky's chances.
