When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ah, it's MR. Dorkface Male Water.  You are probably wondering why I chose to name him such a 'cruel' name, but trust me, there's much more to tell.  This dragon was a pleasant hatchling, obedient, trustworthy, and didn't like the water.  

You're probably asking to repeat that statement because you are in disbelief.  Yes, Dorkface Male Water hates the water.  Not really 'hates' but would rather spend his whole life on land.  (Well not whole life, but you get what I'm trying to tell.)

Once he matured, he couldn't survive on land anymore.  He didn't like that.  Instead of adapting to his breed, he pouted, and sulked all day.  No dragon started 'hanging out' with him, so he turned into one lonely dragon.  Soon instead of his actual name, everyone started calling him 'Dorkface Male Water' or 'The Dorkface Dragon who never bothered adapting to water because he is either too lazy or too dumb, but I don't want to get to know him or his weirdness might effect on me'.
