Royal Crimson Dragons are so named due to their massive size and confident, regal bearing. Most of the time they are laid back, ignoring non-prey creatures smaller than themselves, although they will occasionally take fresh kills from other dragons as a reminder of their place in the social order. Although there are few other dragons large enough to pose a threat to Royal Crimsons, they have little tolerance for potential rivals and will fiercely defend their territory from such intruders.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The legends speak of humans and dragons working together since even before the great heroes, the thuweds, were born. And this astounded Kazerek. He combed the old tomes, the minds of ancient beasts, the religions of man, and he found no answer for why dragons should indulge such weak mortals. Why he, proud and full of power, should ally himself--no, even lesser, why he should serve--humankind.

And so he did not. He became their ruler instead.

Vicious, old beyond count and yet all the stronger for it, this massive dragon considers himself a god. Men and those weak dragons who bow their heads to them are his slaves and servants, his reverent followers overwhelming his foes when pride has given him little interest in taking the field himself, sacrifices offered up daily in his name. He will remind dragonkind of their strength, their glory, their freedom--even he must break half of them to do it.
