Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Her fellow cave members often find her rumbling to herself. She sleeps through the day and only the dragons who stay up later than most watch her leave. She gives off the Sunset cry that alerts other Sunsets that she is wanting to see them. One of the few dragons that purposely watches her leave every night is Nehemiah, Narvk's owner's male and mute Magi. Usually seated next to the young, wise Nehemiah is Joshua, a male Black Tea that is mute as well.

Narvk almost never touches the ground, except for when she sleeps. When walking and running, she's very light-footed and refuses to step correctly, against her owner's wishes.
