Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

Alchemy was named after her creator's belief that origami is a form of alchemy, the transmutation of one substance or form into another. She perpetuates her creator's beliefs by teaching dragons how to transform their own lives through shifting how they think about the world.
