Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Craeso shows little to no true interest in any of the other adult dragons in the clan. He spends most his time practicing various showy bits of magic. The hatchlings of the clan-- frozen or not-- usually take to following Craeso around like a trail of ducklings. He doesn't seem to mind, as long as they don't get too playful. Occasionally, he will entertain them with small magic 'tricks'.<br/>The frozen hatchling Zimmer in particular has a close relationship with Craeso, some sort of father-son or master-apprentice dynamic. The two are nearly inseparable.<br/>Most of the females in the clan seem to strongly dislike Craeso, for reasons unknown. He avoids them when he can and treads cautiously when he cannot. The guardian Arakria and the white Almathia are the only females whom he would consider 'friends'. Arakria often trusts Craeso and Almathia to tend the hatchlings while she and Manny have eggs to guard.
