Lihnseyre Dragons are innately in tune with the souls of creatures around them, informing these dragons of where and what life forms are near. These solitary creatures use this ability to evade others and watch from a distance, staying out of sight or soaring high up in the air. As they have a tendency to “see” and appreciate souls more than the actual wielders of said souls, they are rather detached in terms of emotional and personal connections. Though some tell stories of their anger and sorrow being washed away by these dragons or being freed from weariness, this is not out of inherent goodwill; they simply prefer the feeling of peaceful souls. While hard to anger, a Lihnseyre Dragon, once enraged, will unleash powerful magic to sever the soul tether—the connection between a being’s material body and its extra-planar soul—of the offender and effectively end their life with cold indifference.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Thanks to some happy coincidences involving a chance meeting in a forest and the dispatching of some pesky bandits, Missetsu has worked out a rather cushy arrangement with the local lord whose castle stands close to her living cavern. A few times a month, she visits the lord's main hall and stands nearby as tributes from neighboring nobility and serfs are brought forth. With her keen ability to sense the state of souls, she is able to later counsel the lord regarding the sincerity of the visitors and how to best proceed in his dealings with them. The result is that the lord dispenses reproach and generosity accordingly and is beloved by his people, and Missetsu gets a nice stock of food and treats to bring home after basically doing what comes naturally to her.
