Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Born from a clutch of sinister eggs found on Hallow's Eve, the other dragons in the cave mourned for a day when the hatchlings inside appeared to be dead. By the time they realized that Prowls and her kin were actually alive, it was no joy to them; mysterious and frightening rumors of undead dragon-monsters that thrived on blood were spreading like flames, and Prowls, one of the hatchlings, seemed to possess a terrible malice and cruelty like nothing the other dragons had seen before. Finally, after she unveiled her true vampire's nature and tried to slaughter her kin for their blood, she was banished from the cave by her less sadistic brother, who guarded the dragons and fought her off. Undaunted by this, Prowls made her abode in a nearby crevice, and the rest of the dragons live in constant fear of the ruthless, bloodthirsty predator that looms so close.
