Candelabra Dragons are a spectacular sight against the dark midnight sky. The glowing orbs that decorate their golden wings can be seen from far away and give them the unparalleled brilliance they are recognizable for. Proudly earnest, Candelabra Dragons will often go to extreme lengths to protect those close to them, even giving their lives to rescue a loved one from peril. However, they do not take lightly the breaking of a promise, and have been known to unleash a furious wrath when betrayed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This dragon's favorite foods are moths and pinecones. She attracts the moths by brightening the orb between her horns in the late evening, and feasts on any that fly close. After getting enough of them for a while, she goes to pine trees near the shore, gathers up some of their cones, and uses them to clean the moth wings out of her teeth before consuming them too.

After eating, Mawthlite likes to perform aerial maneuvers in the sky above the coastal rocks and sand bars. Observers describe it as a stardance, because she times the brightening and darkening of her wing orbs to emphasize each maneuver.

Many the sailor that has seen her dance has had a near miss with the rocks and sand, because she distracted them with her dancing in the night sky.
