Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The witch never really understood this hatchling's behavior of consistently clinging to her ever since she graced the egg's with her presence as she watched it hatch. As he gradually matured, his playful nature never left, but this dragon made it a point not to stray beyond his master's steps, to keep her in his line of sight most of the time and poked his nose in her business as much as possible. That meant curling on her lap almost every night as she pored through her books, even as he greatly increased in size.

It annoyed the woman at first, but gradually, she warmed up to this behavior.

One of those nights, she told him the endearing voyage of a half-elf named Isaac Walker. A man of devotion and myths, a captain of a ship, a hero chosen by the skies and eventually crowned as a king. The witch told this story, fondly so, that he quickly noticed the rare reverence in her voice.

The dragon adored that moment so much, he took absolute pleasure from the enchantress calling him Isaac.
