Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. This hatchling seems to be filled with a fell, inner flame.

And look! Its wings have grown, and it’s become bigger, more aggressive, and much hotter.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Catlin is quite the loudmouth, often heard screeching on her little rock. She likes perching herself on low branches, screeching at any dragon passing by. Most of her hellfire family have come to the conclusion that she cannot comprehend or speak properly. All she does is screech.
