Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

There are dragons who were born differently, who will never be labled as normal. They see things in ways no one else could; put pieces together that make sense to them alone. Yet their strange minds possess the strongest imagination and creativity.

Gravelin is one of them, different. He struggled to survive in the everyday life that was second nature to most dragons, not grasping the simplest ideas. Telepathic speech was especially hard. He never could figure out how to form fragments of thought into words, instead often projecting them in the form of images borrowed from his own memory and the minds of those with whom he was conversing. To this day he still speaks using pictorial references. It often puts him at a loss, using such a "primitive" way of communication when words and tone can convey so much more. But he likes to think of himself as a free dragon in a land held captive by the tyranny of written language. For the meaning behind each word changes but pictures remain solid.
