Horse Dragons have equine-shaped bodies and hooves instead of claws, which allow them to be fast runners. They specialize in running takeoffs, which are quicker than taking off from a stand-still. Horse dragons are able to stalk their prey from the ground then quickly execute an aerial attack for the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Eldear of Knights is a loyal dragon for a far away kingdom where he is a dragon knight. His purpose in life is to seek out evil dragons and defeat them. He is fast and his hooves and horns are known as deadly weapons. At one point he went deep into the desert in search of a powerful white dragon assassin by the name Sijach the Assassin. He found her after a long and tiring chase. When he saw her he knew she couldn't be evil, he had fallen in love with her. The two still wander around together hunting down evil and showing it the right path. Eldear is brave, true and a bit stubborn. He is very protective over his family and friends. Eldear of Knights is easily angered but none the less he is a good friend to have. He was no child (yet) but he has taken in a frozen hatchling, Under Night, under his wings.
