Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Crisp Air is a very masculine dragon despite his soft looking exterior. He loves hanging out with all the other drake dragons and playing the rough and physical games. Crispy does love the ladies though, and is not afraid to show his soft side to them. He is never at a loss for a mate as the female dragons are just drawn to his virility. How he longs to be a member of the border patrol. Unfortunately that is reserved for the black warrior dragons. So he resigns himself to patrolling within the borders. His most memorable event was capturing barehanded a violent, well feared warrior from an opposing realm. He proudly wears his medal of bravery from that incident.
