Aria dragons are a brightly-colored and sprightly breed, perhaps most adored for their lyric calls. Their song-like melodies fill the areas they inhabit; their coos resemble those of birds, only more elegant and refined. They have fairly strong magical capabilities, but tend to reserve these strengths for last-minute defense, choosing to live their lives in simple peace. Arias, sticking to the tropics, typically live quite far from human settlements, giving rise to the previously held belief that they had gone extinct.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The small adult dragon is the mother of the group of dragons. She watches them all and she makes sure that everything is in order. She acts so motherly because she hopes to have children of her own one day and the young adult dragons are more than enough trouble then the hatchlings are. She respects everyone and treats everyone fairly. She watches the hatchlings the most though. For they may get lost and they might never be seen again. Her favorite to watch is the small stone dragon. She doesn't know it's name, but the dragon makes no trouble at all and she respects the dragon to do so. Though she may seem motherly and serious all the time, Lady Hopewish enjoys to have fun as well. Her favorite thing to do is to spend time with her friends and talk about how to make themselves look better. Lady Hopewish hopes though no the inside that one dragon may take a liking to her, and be able to see through the motherly side of her.
