Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Unlike the other hatchlings, this one hatched with wings.

And look! Its back legs have become a second set of wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Little Wind Dancer is a wild and free Eternal Hatchling. An escape artist with a preference for pranking, Little Wind Dancer will spend the majority of her day soaring through the skies, diving through clouds, and blending in with the skies. Though happy and cheerful, Little Wind Dancer is still plagued with the curse that all Skywing dragons are cursed with: A deep, everlasting, and unexplainable longing for the endless skies.
